Description
This sumptuous pastel captures the lush flesh of a reclining nude woman in soft and subtle fleshtones, as she lies langorously on thick, dark-magenta cushions. Her left arm appears to be pulling back a thick black curtain and letting in the bright light of the upper left corner, and this action gives the picture a more interesting depth of field than a typical studio nude. Her figure is full and real, yet graceful, elegant, and beautiful.
The original work is about 8.5 inches (21.6 cm) high by about 11 inches (28.0 cm) wide.
